I was raised in a Christian home and from a very young age I knew of my need for a savior. I was saved very young. It wasn’t until going into 9th grade that the Christian life clicked for me. I understood the need for daily forgiveness and a daily walk with Christ. The main factors in my maturing as a believer came from my home, my church, and my Christian school. Through many different ministries I was able to serve in at my home church, I felt God leading me into full time ministry. I went to Cedarville University, where I met my wife and, and fostered a deeper desire for youth ministry. I graduated in May of ’06 and a year later my wife graduated. Two months later were arrived at Norton Baptist.

My desire is to see the youth of Norton Baptist grow in their Christian walk and their desire to serve Christ with their lives. To see more about our youth strategy, visit the youth page under “Ministries”.

Outside of the ministry, things I enjoy are sports. More specifically I love the fighting Irish of Notre Dame, the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers. I also enjoy messing with all the Ohio State Fans here at the church. My wife and I enjoy camping and being outdoors. Our son, Joel was born in December '08 and our daughter, Abby was born in March '11. We love being parents!
