KIDS
The church is not only for adults. Jesus said that unless we all become like a child, we cannot enter the kingdom of God, so children are welcome at Norton Baptist Church.
When we say that they are welcome, we mean that they are welcome in all aspects. We encourage families to keep their kids in with them during our corporate worship times together. It may take some time for children to learn to participate in all we do, but we believe it is best for them and the whole family to have them join us. We do also offer children’s church during the sermon for ages K-3rd grade for those who feel their children may not be ready for the sermon time yet.
YOUR FIRST VISIT
If this is your first visit with us, we welcome you to plan your visit with us and let us know you are coming. We will have someone meet you at the door and help you get the whole family situated and ready to jump in!
WHAT WE TEACH
The answer to this is very simple...the Word of God. Children need to learn the Bible just like their parents need to learn the Bible. This is why we encourage parents to train their children to remain with them in the service and listen to the preaching of God’s Word. In our classes we will teach them the truth, helping them understand God, His character, and His work through Jesus. We are committed to helping all people know God through His revealed Word to us.
